Cancelled follows disgraced influencer Nkosi Dikana after a cheating scandal destroys his public image, marriage and career. Once admired online alongside his pregnant wife Mbali, Nkosi quickly becomes the target of intense public backlash as sponsors withdraw and his carefully crafted online persona begins to collapse. Refusing to step away from the spotlight, he becomes consumed by fear, desperation and the need for public validation. As the pressure intensifies, Nkosi is haunted by a mysterious figure that seems to embody his guilt, obsession and inner turmoil. While his relationships deteriorate and his mental and physical state worsens, he is forced to confront the consequences of sacrificing authenticity and loyalty for fame. The film explores cancel culture, social media addiction and the psychological cost of living for an audience that can turn against you overnight.
