The Extraordinary Super-Now follows Thomas, a frail man whose OCD has had control over his life since the traumatic death of his wife, Autumn, in the late 1960s. Thomas’s life stopped the day that Autumn died, and the helplessness he felt overwhelmed him and has worsened his anxiety and control over the years. Sihle, Thomas's nurse, has recently come into the custody of her nephew Themba, and both Sihle and Themba are now moving in with Thomas because he is in need of full-time care. Themba isn't used to Thomas' routine and innocently becomes a disruption in Thomas's life. The Extraordinary Super-Now tells the story of the first time Themba and Thomas meet and follows Thomas' struggles with adjusting to the new energy in the house. Thomas finds himself reliving memories he shared with Autumn before her death and developing an unlikely kinship with Themba.
