'The Audit' is a performative documentary with fictional dramatized scenes that follows two subjects with different upbringings in their pursuit to follow their dreams. The subjects express their struggles in following their dreams and highlight big moments in their lives that inform how they got to where they are now. The documentary incorporates a fictional character Sam, who is also in the crossroad of making the decision to follow his own dream to be a fine artist or to follow his parent's guidance to be an architect. Just like one of the subjects, he feels that he has to hide what truly brings him fulfilment showing his relevance to the narrative. The auditor symbolizes the pressure to make a choice and break free from societal and cultural stereotypes towards career choices.
