We follow Tony, who lies unconscious in a hospital ICU after suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen. His mother, Lerato, desperately prays for his recovery. As doctors fight to keep him alive, Tony awakens in a dark void where a sinister disembodied voice confronts him with a horrifying vision of the future: Tony killing his own mother. The voice claims Tony has a choice. If Tony survives the present moment, fate will eventually lead him to murder his mother. But if Tony dies now, she will live. Determined to save her, Tony repeatedly enters visions of the future, trying to change the outcome. Each attempt ends in tragedy, whether through violence, accident, or fate itself. Every path leads to his mother’s death. Haunted by memories of his painful upbringing and the bad relationship with his mother, consisting of abuse and emotional torment, Tony is still driven by love. He realizes the cruel truth that some destinies cannot be escaped. Accepting the burden, he chooses to forgive his mother for her past and embraces the possibility of sacrifice to protect her. He’s determined to find a way in the real world to divert his fate, but will he be able to?
