Goodbye Weekend follows the story of Joe, a polite young man who stays at his aunts house for the weekend with a grim resolve—to end his life. His plans are then complicated by the arrival of Angie—a chaotic and eccentric young lady who claims to have double booked the house. After briefly getting to know each other, Angie’s aggressive boyfriend, Ringo, storms into the house after tracking her down... resulting in a heated argument between himself and Angie. As the violent confrontation escalates, Joe ends up shooting Ringo with the very same gun he was going to use on himself. Suddenly, the house becomes the unlikely stage for a frantic cover-up—and an outlandish bond forged in the wake of a murder. Goodbye Weekend is a dark comedy that revels in absurdity, turning tragedy into twisted laughter and exploring the idea of finding friendship in the most bizarre of circumstances.
