Lost in Time is an animated supernatural family drama that follows Tumi and Lerato, two estranged siblings who are summoned back to their childhood home, Lodge Betwixt, after the death of their father. Each receives a mysterious letter from their late father's lawyer, calling them to settle estate matters or risk forfeiting their inheritance. As they return to the isolated farmhouse, memories of a troubled past and unresolved trauma resurface. Strange and eerie events unfold, shadows move in hallways, and the presence of their father seems to linger in the walls. The film explores themes of grief, forgiveness, family estrangement, and the intergenerational consequences of silence. While Lerato seeks to bury the past and move on, Tumi is haunted by it, unable to let go. Through their emotional confrontation, the siblings grapple with grief, anger, and the need for closure. As the supernatural presence intensifies, they must confront the ghosts of their past, both literal and metaphorical, to reclaim peace and find a path forward.
