In a satirical world where contract murder has been commodified, ratings and popularity decide how valuable a hitman is Dex Doyle, an aspiring but bumbling hitman desperate for higher ratings endeavours to kill his target in a restaurant where he comes into conflict with a deadly far more competent hitman hell bent on the same goal. A black comedy with plenty of absurdity, Hitman Error 404 makes fun of society's obsession with validation and image.
