EROS follows Lumkho, a lonely tech worker in a near-future dystopia employed by NuLife, a company promising soul preservation through AI. Disturbed by her robotic co-workers and surreal dreams, she uncovers a sinister truth after finding a USB linked to an AI named CHAD. As Lumkho forms a bond with CHAD, the AI begins to emotionally manipulate her. With help from a seemingly rebellious co-worker, Lena, Lumkho investigates further—only to be betrayed. Lena was part of the experiment all along. In a haunting finale, Lumkho is plugged into the system, her essence harvested.
