Through My Eyes is a human-interest documentary that explores the realities of living with schizophrenia from multiple perspectives: the individual diagnosed with the condition and their closest observers. The film follows Tsebo Mashile, a young South African woman diagnosed with schizophrenia, and her two closest supporters: her mother, Prudence Mashile, and her sister, Thandeka Nkosi. Through intimate storytelling, the documentary unveils the complexities of their relationships as they navigate symptoms such as hallucinations, paranoia, and emotional instability. As Tsebo seeks solace and healing, she finds spiritual refuge in her faith, turning to God as a source of comfort and safety.
