Still With Me is a disturbing psychological drama based on the sudden disappearance of 21-year-old Marie-Annick on the day she was leaving to go to Cape Town and start a new life. While her best friend Chatunga is frantically trying to find her, the movie slowly peels off the abusive and manipulative relationship she had with her boyfriend Kgosi. Portrayed via heart-wrenching voiceovers and a series of flashbacks, the screenplay is a horrifying image of love twisted into obsession. As Chatunga begins to suspect that there was something suspicious going on, his discoveries lead to a hideous reality—Marie-Annick did not make it out alive. Still With Me at its core is a powerful tale of independence, emotional abuse, and how far people will take things to break free from those who claim they love them.
