The Last Letter follows Matthew, a 21-year-old grappling with the recent death of his mother. While cleaning out her belongings, he discovers a long-lost letter dated 1998. In a last-ditch attempt to avoid his grief, he sets out to deliver it. Along the way, he reconnects with old friends and revisits the memories of his childhood. As he navigates grief, humor, and unexpected moments, Matthew begins to heal, finding solace in the relationships he once took for granted and how to grow around his grief and move forward in a world without his mother.
