In "Dogfood," Robert Clarke, a 28-year-old man, struggles against the consuming forces of society and capitalism. The film follows Rob as he descends into self-destruction. After a moment of frustration leads him to smash a mirror, Rob's overindulgence results in a near-fatal overdose. He wakes to find his appendix removed and, driven by a grotesque new hunger, consumes it. This act sparks a fatal cycle of self-consumption, symbolizing the destructive impact of capitalism on the individual. Logline: In a dog-eat-dog world, overrun by capitalism and greed, a young man becomes consumed by a hunger we have yet to see. Tagline: Eat a dog, Save a cat.
