Where The Rest Of Us Go" is a student short film set in 1985s South Africa, during a time of escalating riots and civil unrest. The film follows Aiden, a young colored man who faces a difficult choice: to fight for his freedom or complete his education. While Aiden chooses to focus on his studies for a better future, his friend Elton is drawn to activism and protest in the midst of social injustice. "Where The Rest Of Us Go" navigates the challenging decisions faced by Aiden and Elton during this pivotal moment in South African history, bringing understanding to each character's choices. The film aims to remind young individuals that their current opportunities were achieved through sacrifice and struggle, urging them not to take these privileges for granted and to appreciate the sacrifices made by previous generations for a better future.
