The whole world doesn’t have to end for you to feel like your whole world is ending. This is what Jessica and Eli realise. They are planning their wedding and future life together when Eli falls terminally ill. Eli, who became a nurse to help people, often finds himself frustrated with patients who just don’t want to get better. Now he is facing a crisis as he too has given up hope and does not want to get better. Jessica is by his side and struggling too. She wants to use their last moments the best they can but is fighting with her own grief. Eli wants to cut his suffering short and Jessica wants him to fight and stay longer. Both think that they are helping the other in their limited time. The two connect, fall apart and reconnect through their first dance that may never be, as Eli builds up to a life-changing and possibly world-ending decision.
