Elaine, a nervous and melancholic foil to her ex, Oliver, a fiery and charming playwright, who has just penned his latest work titled Moonwalkers, a thinly veiled retelling of their romance. Feeling uneasy about her relationship with the past and Oliver's play, she agrees to read through it with him, but when the lines between truth and fiction begin to blur, Elaine's world is turned upside down and she is made to confront who she was in the light of who she's become.
