The documentary is about male sex workers , we get to explore and understand more about their working conditions, their fears and aspirations, and how they access healthcare services. The documentary will help male sex workers become more visible in South Africa and address how to lessen the double stigma that this group faces. The message we hoping to relay on this documentary from South African male sex workers to the country and the rest of the world is: We are here, We are proud And We matter. Productions that this documentary will draw inspiration from include the documentaries ‘The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan’ , ‘Men for Sale’ and ‘Rent Boys’.
