An Experimental Drama, that is inspired by William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.” We have chosen to set our play in a oppressive Matriarchal society, The narrative follows Macbeth, a man stuck in a society controlled by women. He is seen as nothing more than an object and husband to Lady Macbeth. Throughout the play, we see Macbeth, facing complex traumas of being oppressed, desperate, contemplating murderous thoughts, dealing with a pompous Queen and mysterious Spirit, driving him to carrying out a murder and lastly becoming severely mentally ill and losing his mind and going down a psychotic path.
