When her brothers sickness worsens, Zani, undergoes extreme measures to find a solution that will cure him. Zani's desperation to cure her brother, leads her to go against her own beliefs and morals. She abandons all she knows, western methods and Christianity, going the traditional route in hopes it will safe her brother. Unfortunately it doesn't, and Zani is forced to take matters into her own hands.
