AFDA Durban TV Screenwriting lecturer, Shivana Naidoo, and AFDA Cape Town Screenwriting lecture, Peter Goldsmid, have received two nominations each for the The Writers’ Guild of South Africa Muse Awards 2019. Shivana has been nominated for "Best Short SPEC Script" and "The Paul Ian Johnson Award for Best Emerging Writer" awards and Peter for the “Best Animation Script” and “Best Television SPEC Script” awards.
“I am deeply honored to have my work recognized by The WGSA. These nominations stand as a testament not only to my ability as a writer but also to the great mentor-ship I have received from my screenwriting mentor Dr Janet Van Eeden.” says Shivana.
